Return shipping is paid by the customer (tracked + insured required). A 40% restocking fee applies. Refunds are issued as store credit (valid 12 months) after inspection.

Who (Really) Pays for Free Return Shipping?

To be clear, "free" return shipping is not actually free! It just appears that way but the shipping company still charges a fee to the business, and the product price is raised to compensate. That means free return shipping may not be so free after all, as you’re actually paying the shipping cost in the product price. And you may be thinking the retailers are doing you the favour. Quite a clever trick, really.

What Do We Do Instead of Free Returns?

We work harder to make sure you never need one.

A curated collection. We only list pieces we would put in our own homes and restaurants.
Details in plain language. Every product page explains the dimensions, materials and seat heights in words you can use, not copied manufacturer jargon.
See it before you buy. With our See It In Your Space service, send us a photo of your room and the product you are considering, and we will send back a realistic preview within 24 business hours, so you can check fit, scale and colour before you order. Your first preview is free.
Real people, real answers. Ask us anything before you order, and book a free consultation with our interior designer when you need one.
Delivered with care. Shipping to your door is free on orders over $550, and when a piece needs extra protection we ship it on a wooden pallet, whatever the extra cost.

The result: fewer than 1% of our orders lead to a return request, year after year. The best return is the one you never need to make.

Why Do We Do This?

To deliver the highest quality products at the most affordable prices. After all, isn't this the essence of online shopping?

Product Details

The Wire Bar Chair Pera HB is an adjustable stool with a PPM seat and a chrome steel wire sled base. The counter version has a 24 in seat for 35 to 37 in kitchen counters; the bar version has a 29 in seat for 41 to 43 in bars.

Stool specifications

Counter dimensions. This model measures 16 in × 20.5 in × 32 in overall with a 24 in seat height.
Bar dimensions. This variant measures 16 in × 20.5 in × 36.5 in overall with a 29 in seat height.
Seat build. A 1.5 mm thick PPM cover fills onto injected polyurethane foam and S-shaped springs to resist sagging.
Back style. An integrated handle back provides leaning support and a grip for repositioning.
Base finish. Choose from chrome, gold brass, or black powder-coated wire frames.
Footrest. A horizontal wire crossbar rests below the seat.
Height adjustment. The stool features adjustable sizing across its models.
Care routine. Wipe the seat with a damp cloth and mild soap until dry, dust the metal base regularly, and never pour liquid on welded joints.

Comfort and construction

Your body stays aligned because the seat mounts to a steel frame wrapped in S-shaped springs for consistent flexibility. Injected polyurethane foam adds firm support that holds up through long conversations. The high handle back cradles your upper torso while giving you secure lift points when changing position. The smooth surface wipes clean quickly after heavy use or cooking messes.

Counter or bar height?

Measure from the floor to the underside of your countertop to choose the correct frame. Keep 10 to 12 inches of clearance between the seat and the cabinet top to protect your knees and improve airflow under the legs. Compare standard sizes in our bar stool height guide.

Styling the chrome Pera stool

The open wire frame keeps sightlines wide open beside white quartz islands or pale maple cabinets. Switch to the black powder base to anchor the room against matte black faucets and dark wood drawers.
