Return shipping is paid by the customer (tracked + insured required). A 40% restocking fee applies. Refunds are issued as store credit (valid 12 months) after inspection.

Who (Really) Pays for Free Return Shipping?

To be clear, "free" return shipping is not actually free! It just appears that way but the shipping company still charges a fee to the business, and the product price is raised to compensate. That means free return shipping may not be so free after all, as you’re actually paying the shipping cost in the product price. And you may be thinking the retailers are doing you the favour. Quite a clever trick, really.

What Do We Do Instead of Free Returns?

We work harder to make sure you never need one.

A curated collection. We only list pieces we would put in our own homes and restaurants.
Details in plain language. Every product page explains the dimensions, materials and seat heights in words you can use, not copied manufacturer jargon.
See it before you buy. With our See It In Your Space service, send us a photo of your room and the product you are considering, and we will send back a realistic preview within 24 business hours, so you can check fit, scale and colour before you order. Your first preview is free.
Real people, real answers. Ask us anything before you order, and book a free consultation with our interior designer when you need one.
Delivered with care. Shipping to your door is free on orders over $550, and when a piece needs extra protection we ship it on a wooden pallet, whatever the extra cost.

The result: fewer than 1% of our orders lead to a return request, year after year. The best return is the one you never need to make.

Why Do We Do This?

To deliver the highest quality products at the most affordable prices. After all, isn't this the essence of online shopping?

Product Details

The Pera Wire is a bar and counter stool with a dark red PPM seat and a gold brass wire base.

The counter version has a 24 in seat for 35 to 37 in kitchen counters, and the bar version has a 29 in seat for 41 to 43 in bars.

Stool specifications

Seat height: The counter model measures 24 in high, and the bar model measures 29 in high.
Overall dimensions: Both frames measure 16.0 in wide, 20.5 in deep, and stand 32.0 in or 36.5 in tall.
Seat material: Dark red PPM, a firm and breathable synthetic leather.
Back style: A high curved backrest with a built-in rear handle.
Base finish: Chrome steel rod bent into a sled shape with a gold brass powder coat.
Footrest: A front footrest sits low beneath the seat curve.
Care: Spot-clean the upholstery with mild soap and water, then dry immediately.

Comfort and construction

The injected foam cushion sits above S-shaped springs, giving you reliable flex. A welded steel frame locks the shape and supports daily use. Plastic leg glides protect hard surfaces when sliding the seat forward. Rear handles let you move the stool quickly during entertaining.

Counter or bar height?

Measure from your floor to the countertop edge to select the proper seat height. You should always maintain a 10 to 12 in gap between the seat rim and the cabinet underside for knee clearance. Consult our bar stool height guide to calculate exact spacing.

Styling the dark red Pera Wire stool

The bright copper sink fixtures complement the gold brass sled base beautifully. White cabinets and light oak islands provide a neutral backdrop that makes the dark red seat the clear focal point.
