Who (Really) Pays for Free Return Shipping?

To be clear, "free" return shipping is not actually free! It just appears that way but the shipping company still charges a fee to the business, and the product price is raised to compensate. That means free return shipping may not be so free after all, as you’re actually paying the shipping cost in the product price. And you may be thinking the retailers are doing you the favour. Quite a clever trick, really.

What Do We Do Instead of Free Returns?

We work harder to make sure you never need one.

A curated collection. We only list pieces we would put in our own homes and restaurants.
Details in plain language. Every product page explains the dimensions, materials and seat heights in words you can use, not copied manufacturer jargon.
See it before you buy. With our See It In Your Space service, send us a photo of your room and the product you are considering, and we will send back a realistic preview within 24 business hours, so you can check fit, scale and colour before you order. Your first preview is free.
Real people, real answers. Ask us anything before you order, and book a free consultation with our interior designer when you need one.
Delivered with care. Shipping to your door is free on orders over $550, and when a piece needs extra protection we ship it on a wooden pallet, whatever the extra cost.

The result: fewer than 1% of our orders lead to a return request, year after year. The best return is the one you never need to make.

Comfort and construction

Injected polyurethane foam sits over a steel frame reinforced with S-shaped springs to cushion your seating. The high leaning backrest supports your spine during long meals. Moisture-resistant PPM upholstery wipes clean quickly after spills land on it. Plastic glides attach directly to the wire legs to protect your flooring from scratches.

Counter or bar height?

Measure from your floor to the underside of your countertop before you select a version. Keep exactly 10 in to 12 in of vertical clearance between the seat and the countertop edge. Review our bar stool height guide for precise spacing recommendations tailored to your layout.

Styling the neutral Gold Wire Pera HB stool

The metallic wire loop catches ambient light and adds subtle shine to dark wood cabinets or quartz countertops. Soft seat tones blend smoothly behind busy mosaic backsplashes without drawing focus away from your decor.
