Warranty

Upholstery and slipcover warranties vary by fabric grade as follows:

Camira Era/Blazer: 10 years
PPM and PPM-S fabrics: 5 years

These warranties apply solely to the upholstery and slipcovers, excluding the product framework. The framework and structures are warranted against factory defects for one (1) year.

We recommend keeping the original packaging. If a return is necessary and the original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for ensuring the product is safely packaged. See More Here.

Returns & Refunds

Returns: No-remorse returns (changed mind) are accepted if requested within 48 hours of delivery. Items must be unused, unassembled, like-new, and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer (tracked + insured required). A 40% restocking fee applies. Refunds are issued as store credit (valid 12 months) after inspection.

Damage/Defect: Report within 24 hours of delivery with photos to returns@yourbarstools.ca.

Who (Really) Pays for Free Return Shipping?

To be clear, "free" return shipping is not actually free! It just appears that way but the shipping company still charges a fee to the business, and the product price is raised to compensate. That means free return shipping may not be so free after all, as you’re actually paying the shipping cost in the product price. And you may be thinking the retailers are doing you the favour. Quite a clever trick, really.

What Do We Do Instead of Free Returns?

We work harder to make sure you never need one.

A curated collection. We only list pieces we would put in our own homes and restaurants.
Details in plain language. Every product page explains the dimensions, materials and seat heights in words you can use, not copied manufacturer jargon.
See it before you buy. With our See It In Your Space service, send us a photo of your room and the product you are considering, and we will send back a realistic preview within 24 business hours, so you can check fit, scale and colour before you order. Your first preview is free.
Real people, real answers. Ask us anything before you order, and book a free consultation with our interior designer when you need one.
Delivered with care. Shipping to your door is free on orders over $550, and when a piece needs extra protection we ship it on a wooden pallet, whatever the extra cost.

The result: fewer than 1% of our orders lead to a return request, year after year. The best return is the one you never need to make.

Why Do We Do This?

To deliver the highest quality products at the most affordable prices. After all, isn't this the essence of online shopping?

Product Details

The Pera Wood Handle Back is a counter stool with an ivory PPM seat and a walnut finish wood base. The counter version has a 24 in seat for 35 to 37 in kitchen counters; the bar version has a 29 in seat for 41 to 43 in bars.

Stool specifications

Seat height: 24 in for counters and 29 in for bars.
Overall size: 16 in wide by 20.5 in deep by 32 in tall for the counter model, and 36.5 in tall for the bar model.
Seat material: 1.5 mm thick PPM upholstery.
Backrest: Low profile with an integrated wood handle.
Base: Four wood legs in a walnut finish with plastic foot glides.
Footrest: Cross support fixed inside the leg frame.
Care: Wipe dust with a dry cloth and spot clean with soapy water.

Comfort and construction

The seat rests on a steel frame fitted with S-shaped springs for steady flex. Polyurethane foam injection holds its density through daily use. A round wooden handle back supports upright sitting. The padded surface allows easy storage under counters and wipes clean with mild soap.

Counter or bar height?

You should measure from the floor to the underside of your surface before ordering. Leave a 10 to 12 in gap between the seat and the counter edge to protect your knees. Our bar stool height guide covers exact measurement methods.

Styling the Ivory Pera stool

The neutral tone reflects light and pairs easily with darker cabinetry or matte black fixtures. Set the walnut base against quartz tops or shaker-style doors to create a grounded contemporary kitchen.

See it at your island first

Send us a photo of your kitchen and we will show this stool in your space before you buy via our See It In Your Space tool.

Stool FAQs

What counter height does the Pera Wood Handle Back fit? It is engineered for standard 35 to 37 in kitchen counters and breakfast bars.

How many Pera Wood Handle Back stools fit at my island? Allow 26 to 30 in per stool centre to centre, which means a 6 ft island holds 2 to 3 units and an 8 ft island holds 3 to 4. Consult our bar and counter stool buying guide for spacing tips.

How do I clean the PPM seat? Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry. For the wooden base, dust with a dry soft cloth regularly and keep liquids off the finished surface.
