Camira Era/Blazer: 10 years
PPM and PPM-S fabrics: 5 years
PPM-FR fabric: 3 years
Leatherette fabric: 1 year
All other fabric materials: 1 year

These warranties apply solely to the upholstery and slipcovers, excluding the product framework. The framework and structures are warranted against factory defects for one (1) year.

We recommend keeping the original packaging. If a return is necessary and the original packaging is unavailable, the customer is responsible for ensuring the product is safely packaged. See More Here.

Returns: No-remorse returns (changed mind) are accepted if requested within 48 hours of delivery. Items must be unused, unassembled, like-new, and in original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer (tracked + insured required). A 40% restocking fee applies. Refunds are issued as store credit (valid 12 months) after inspection.

Damage/Defect: Report within 24 hours of delivery with photos to returns@yourbarstools.ca.

Who (Really) Pays for Free Return Shipping?

To be clear, "free" return shipping is not actually free! It just appears that way but the shipping company still charges a fee to the business, and the product price is raised to compensate. That means free return shipping may not be so free after all, as you’re actually paying the shipping cost in the product price. And you may be thinking the retailers are doing you the favour. Quite a clever trick, really.

What Do We Do Instead of Free Returns?

We work harder to make sure you never need one.

A curated collection. We only list pieces we would put in our own homes and restaurants.
Details in plain language. Every product page explains the dimensions, materials and seat heights in words you can use, not copied manufacturer jargon.
See it before you buy. With our See It In Your Space service, send us a photo of your room and the product you are considering, and we will send back a realistic preview within 24 business hours, so you can check fit, scale and colour before you order. Your first preview is free.
Real people, real answers. Ask us anything before you order, and book a free consultation with our interior designer when you need one.
Delivered with care. Shipping to your door is free on orders over $550, and when a piece needs extra protection we ship it on a wooden pallet, whatever the extra cost.

The result: fewer than 1% of our orders lead to a return request, year after year. The best return is the one you never need to make.

Why Do We Do This?

To deliver the highest quality products at the most affordable prices. After all, isn't this the essence of online shopping?

Product Details

The Pera Galata bar stool is a stool sold in counter and bar heights with a black PPM leather seat and a brass finish steel tube base. The counter version has a 24 in seat and 31 in overall height; the bar version has a 29 in seat and 36.5 in overall height. Both measure 17.3 in wide by 20.5 in deep and are rated for 350 lb. Your Bar Stools Canada ships in-stock versions across Canada within about 5 business days. Shipping is free over $550, otherwise $120 flat. Other Pera base finishes include black, black ash with brass and chrome.

Stool specifications

Seat height: 24 in for counter models, 29 in for bar models.
Overall size: Units measure 17.3 in wide by 20.5 in deep, reaching 31 in overall height for counters and 36.5 in overall height for bars.
Seat and back material: Black PPM leather covers both surfaces completely.
Footrest: A continuous tubular ring anchors inside the four-leg frame.
Base finish: Powder-coated black steel tubing features gold-toned joint accents.
Care: Spot clean the upholstery with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry immediately.

Comfort and construction

The internal seat skeleton uses S-shaped metal springs for balanced flex under load. High-density polyurethane foam fills the hollow steel mold to retain thickness through repeated use. Low-profile rubberized glides protect your flooring against scuff marks. You can lift the upholstery panel away from the frame for straightforward washing.

Counter or bar height?

Measure from your finished floor to the underside of your countertop. Leave 10 to 12 in of vertical clearance between the padded seat and the counter lip. Check our bar stool height guide to match your room measurements.

Styling the black Pera Galata stool

The matte black tube frame pairs well with white or wood cabinets and smooth quartz countertops. Gold joint accents complement black hardware while balancing out light wall tones.

Stool FAQs

What counter height does the Pera Galata fit? It matches standard 35 to 37 in kitchen counters, or 41 to 43 in commercial bars. Select the matching frame after measuring your countertop.

How many Pera Galata stools fit at my island? Allow 26 to 30 in between each unit centre to centre. A 6 ft island holds 2 to 3 stools, and an 8 ft island takes 3 to 4. Review the bar and counter stool buying guide for spacing calculations.

How do I clean the PPM leather seat? Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry it completely. Dust the metal base with a soft dry cloth and never soak the structure. Stock orders ship within 5 business days, and PPM upholstery carries 5 years of defect coverage. The metal base covers 1 year.
